Mistake Taxonomy
Classify errors so you can remove the most expensive behaviors first.
A mistake taxonomy is a list of error types you track consistently. Examples include chasing, early entry, late entry, oversized position, moved stop, skipped target, traded outside plan, ignored news, and revenge trade. Naming mistakes makes them measurable.
Once mistakes are categorized, rank them by frequency and cost. The most common mistake may not be the most expensive. One oversized revenge trade can cost more than several small early entries. Fix the behaviors that damage expectancy the most.
The goal is not self-criticism. The goal is operational improvement. When a mistake repeats, create a rule, checklist, or environmental change that makes the error harder to commit next time.
