A daily bias is a conditional plan for how you expect the session to behave. It can be bullish, bearish, or neutral, but it should always include the conditions that would confirm or invalidate it.
A useful bias might say: bullish above prior day high if pullbacks hold and volume expands; bearish below overnight low if the open fails to reclaim; neutral inside yesterday's range until an extreme is tested. This is more flexible than simply declaring a direction.
Bias is a guide, not a prison. If price disproves your plan, update quickly. Strong traders are prepared, but they are not stubborn. The goal is to trade the market that appears, not the one you hoped for.
