Building a Premarket Plan
Map key levels, scenarios, and invalidation before the open.
A premarket plan prepares you before emotion enters the session. It should include the current higher-timeframe context, key overnight levels, prior day high and low, major news times, and the areas where you are interested in doing business.
Good plans use scenarios. If price opens above a key level and holds, you may look for long continuation. If price sweeps a high and rejects, you may look for a short. If price opens in the middle of a range, you may wait instead of forcing a trade.
The goal is not to predict every move. The goal is to know what matters before price gets there. A clear plan makes it easier to act decisively when conditions match and easier to stand down when they do not.
