Support & Resistance Zones

How to mark areas instead of fragile single-price lines.

Support and resistance are areas where price has reacted before. They are better treated as zones instead of exact lines because futures often probe slightly above or below obvious levels before making the real move.

A useful zone is built from repeated reactions, swing highs or lows, high-volume areas, prior session levels, or clean rejection points. The more visible the level, the more likely orders and stops are clustered around it. That can create both opportunity and false breaks.

Mark only the levels that matter. Too many zones make the chart impossible to trade. Focus on nearby areas where price could realistically react during your session, then plan what confirmation would be needed before taking a trade.
