Trade management is what you do after entry. Your choices include taking partial profits, moving the stop, trailing behind structure, holding for a target, or exiting when the setup fails to progress.

Management should be planned before the trade. If you decide everything in real time, fear and greed will usually take over. Define where you will reduce risk, where you will take profit, and what price action would make you exit early.

The best management style depends on the setup. A scalp may need quick partials. A trend continuation may need room to breathe. A reversal may require proof that price is actually accepting away from the swept level.
